“स्तुती हो तेरी (Praise be unto Thee)” by Neha Anwari

February 11, 2025, in Music > Studio Session, by

Baha’i Blog Studio Sessions is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.

In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Melbourne, Australia with Neha Anwari who sings “स्तुती हो तेरी (Praise be unto Thee)” in Hindi based on the Writings of the Bab.

This song was composed by Prem Singh.

This song was filmed and recorded in Melbourne, Australia in November 2023.

LYRICS/QUOTE IN ENGLISH:

Praise be unto Thee, O Lord. Forgive us our sins, have mercy upon us and enable us to return unto Thee. Suffer us not to rely on aught else besides Thee, and vouchsafe unto us, through Thy bounty, that which Thou lovest and desirest and well beseemeth Thee. Exalt the station of them that have truly believed, and forgive them with Thy gracious forgiveness. Verily, Thou art the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting.

LYRICS/QUOTE:

Stuti ho teri, hey mere swaamin -2

Humein tu humaray, paapon ki kshama they,

hum-par dayaa kar,

aur apnay aseem-daatarpan say,

tu humein wahuh they,

jo tujhay priyuh ho,

jo teri ich-haa ho,

jo teray liye shobhuh-niyuh ho.

Jinhonein tujh-par saccha wish-waas kiya hai

unkay puhd ko udaatuh kar.

Aur apnay kripa-poorituh kshama-daan say

unhay tu kshama they

Satya hi tu sankuhtuh may sahayukuh hai

aur swayama-dhaar hai -2
