The team at Baha’i Blog is super excited to let everyone know that we’ve just published our 50th Studio Sessions song, and there’s still many more to come!
Baha’i Blog’s Studio Sessions is a musical initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends in different parts of the world into a studio to film and record them singing a song based on the Baha’i Writings. We then make these songs available every week for free on Baha’i Blog’s YouTube Channel and SoundCloud page for everyone to listen to! We’ve had so much great feedback and help from so many people in every part of the world, and the team here at Baha’i Blog are extremely grateful to everyone for their constant encouragement and support! We’re doing our best to approach everything we do with a humble posture of learning, and an attitude of service. We meet regularly and are constantly planning, acting and reflecting on all the things we do. In a letter from the Universal House of Justice to all National Spiritual Assemblies dated 12 December, 2011, the House of Justice stated:
We long to see, for instance, the emergence of captivating songs from every part of the world, in every language, that will impress upon the consciousness of the young the profound concepts enshrined in the Baha’i teachings.
Along with creating awesome Baha’i-inspired content, a big part of our mission here at Baha’i Blog is to advocate the use of media and the arts in the Baha’i Faith. We do this through education, encouragement, and by providing inspiration. When it comes to maintaining the site itself, we’re very conscious that Baha’i Blog should be a standard-setting publication for Baha’i projects online.
