Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in New York, USA with Caity Bolton who sings “يا إلهي اسمك شفائي (Thy Name Is My Healing)” from the Writings of Baha’u’llah in Arabic.
You can also download the audio version of this song from Baha’i Blog’s Soundcloud page here:
This song was filmed and recorded in New York, USA, January 2017.
Here is the quotation used for the lyrics followed by the English Translation:
ومعينى فى الدنيا والأخرة
وإنك أنت المعطى العليم الحكيم. بهاءالله
“Thy name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance of Thee is my remedy. Nearness to Thee is my hope, and love for Thee is my companion. Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come. Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.”
