Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.

In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Hluboka nad Vltavou, in the Czech Republic with Pedro Giomo who sings “O Senhor” in Portuguese based on a prayer by Abdu’l-Baha.

This song was filmed and recorded in Hluboka nad Vltavou, in the Czech Republic, December 2017.

Here is the quotation used for the lyrics in Portuguese followed by the English translation:

“O Senhor! Torna radiante este jovem e derrama a Tua graca sobre este fraco! Concede-lhe conhecimento e, a cada amanhecer, aumenta-lhe as forcas. Abriga-o no refugio da Tua protecao para que seja libertado do erro, possa servir a Tua Causa, guiar os desviados, conduzir os infelizes, livrar os cativos e despertar os letargicos; de modo que todos sejam abencoados com a Tua lembranca e louvor. Es o Forte, o Poderoso.”

– Abdu’l-Baha

“O Lord! Make this youth radiant, and confer Thy bounty upon this poor creature. Bestow upon him knowledge, grant him added strength at the break of every morn and guard him within the shelter of Thy protection so that he may be freed from error, may devote himself to the service of Thy Cause, may guide the wayward, lead the hapless, free the captives and awaken the heedless, that all may be blessed with Thy remembrance and praise. Thou art the Mighty and the Powerful.”

– Abdu’l-Baha

Jordan Raj

Randomly bursting into song is a daily occurrence for Jordan, something which his friends find both hilarious and terrifying, however, for their own survival, they have grown accustomed to acts of randomness. Growing up in both the Czech Republic and Australia, and looking like he’s from neither, Jordan took to creating Youtube videos from a young age, the intention of his content is to make people happy and hopefully spread some positivity juice. He is now studying Media in Melbourne Australia, and singing for his classmates. (he really does not sing that much)
