   I LOVE these talks, particularly “Recreating ourselves in the image of the Master”. I’ve listened to them at least 3 times. They have aided me in being a better children’s class teacher when I serve at Green Acre, they help me deal with challenging relationships at work, they help me build stronger ties with family, and I encourage many of my friends and community members to listen. Not only are they thought provoking and enlightening, Tom Price’s humor keeps you awake, and drawn in. I told my husband, every time I start listening to a new talk, within minutes I have to pause it and pray – they are so humbling and profound. I am so grateful for this service.

   I’m another Price, Ron Price, a Canadian, not an American. I’m not the speaker or the musician that Tom Price is. I’ve known Tom since the 1970s. I am a writer and author, poet and publisher, online journalist and blogger. What I offer at the link below is not a talk, but it compliments Tom’s talks for people who like to read about many of the same topics in Tom’s talks, both this talk and his others. I became a Baha’i in Canada in 1959 and have millions of readers on the world-wide-web. Sadly, or not so sadly, I am neither famous or rich.

   I have a book on the new culture of learning and growth, the new paradigm, which has had some 20,000 hits in the several years it has been on the internet. This book is 530 pages(font 14) and 200 thousand words, and is the longest study and analysis of the new Baha’i culture available. This newest, this latest, of the Abrahamic religions, has been developing a new culture in the last two decades. This new culture or paradigm will be developing in the decades ahead, arguably, at least until 2044, the end of the second century of the Baha’i Era(1844 to 2044), and perhaps beyond into that third century of the B.E., 2044 to 2144. Time will tell when the next paradigmatic shift will take place in the international Baha’i community.    After reflecting on my post above, I would like to say to readers that my book does not have the humour or the humility, or perhaps even the profundity, of Tom’s talks. You won’t be able to do the dishes or the gardening, as you might, while you listen to Tom engage his audience as he does so well. And I’m sure you will not want to read my book several times with its 500+ pages, as you might want to listen to Tom’s talks several times.

   I leave it to readers to assess what they will get from a perusal of my lengthy work. Skim or scan it; read every word carefully, or just leave it unread. The Baha’i library now is burgeoning with books, too much for the average punter, and impossible to read all the works as I was able to do back in the 1950s and early 1960s. So you have to pick and choose what grabs you, what turns you on, as they say, from the virtually infinite resources now available in our 21st century of print and image-glut.
